NOW IS THE TIME
In five years’ time, most customers will have moved to the Cloud. What about my customers?
Will they “go Cloud”?
What about the tailormade solutions I made for them?
Will the ISV solutions be ready for Cloud as well?
No worries I (Bernhard, QBS Partner) will help you through this.
Which licenses do I need? Can I migrate my customers to Business Central? What will be the impact?
Do I need to make an Extension or can I use PowerApps for my tailor-made code?
Just ask me your questions and we will help you out.
Step by step, in a way that suits you and your customers.
You don’t have to do them all at the same time: start with the easy ones and make a plan for the rest.
Now is the Time! to start with it.
Why should we care about migrations towards Business Central SaaS? We all know this by now right?! Cloud is crucial for digital transformation.
As Satya Nadella stated in April 2020, “We’ve seen two years’ worth of digital transformation in two months. From remote teamwork and learning to sales and customer service, to critical cloud infrastructure and security—we are working alongside customers every day to help them adapt and stay open for business in a world of remote everything.” This statement is more valid than ever, but we know that this is not always as easy as it sounds. So, we were listening to you very carefully and know the struggles you are facing in current times.
QBS Group is here for you – we understand your needs and came up with an appealing path on which to lead your customers all the way to Business Central SaaS.
Besides the given facts and external factors, there are other reasons why should care about the Migration as a Journey.
You (should) have customer focus. You don’t want to lose your customers. You like guaranteed billable hours. You like the opportunity of upselling and cross-selling Azure solutions, correct? And, last but not least, you are in this business because you love to serve your customers and go the extra mile to solve their issues and strengthen their most critical business processes.

ERP Migration – the Friendly Hill That One Day May Become a Hostile Mountain
Cloud computing is probably the most profound IT-innovation of this century so far. The software industry has rapidly embraced the paradigm shift and has introduced Software-as-a-Service solutions paid for as recurring subscriptions.
The market acceptance of the SaaS format has been equally impressive. Customers simply love it, and for good reasons.

Talking about Migration as a Journey.
What will be your destination?
From BREP to CSP
The classic annual maintenance BREP is basically not an option. This is where you could and should start immediately. Today.
You offer your customers the option to pay their BREP on a monthly basis.
And as part of the commercial migration, they receive an active Business Central tenant to get familiar with.

The ideal option. The ultimate destination. Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS as how it’s meant to be. Full functionality, full integration with the Microsoft Platform like other Dynamics 365 products and the Power Platform.
Yes, Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS is the ultimate end goal, but as of today it also has some limitations or as I would like to call them ‘prerequisites’. Those could be very important for the majority of your customers.
To make Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS your ultimate goal, you need a roadmap on how to get there. How to make your IP ready, how to substitute old technologies with new solutions, how to migrate all your customers and so on…
Another little side note: We love to mitigate risks, don’t we? That’s why partners don’t know where to start with these types of complex migrations, taking into consideration the criteria, limitations, challenges of whatever you like to call them.
If you are thinking about complex migrations and you don’t know how to properly deliver them, the risk of failure is so big, that the majority of the partners won’t even consider them. Projects with a very small risk, on the contrary, we don’t shy away from, agree? The overall approach should be to split the large complex migrations into smaller parts which could be handled and realized completely as separate motions. In the end, when you have completed the small parts, the impact is the same.
That’s how we think we could help you out with your more complex migrations. So, we have some suggested routes for you, as a partner to embark on.
No one should be left behind. Basically, every customer could be migrated to Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS. A lot of prerequisites of Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS could be handled by specific offerings from the wide Azure Portfolio.
